How Chiropractic Care Works

How Chiropractic Care Works

Everyday life can be hard on your body. Lifting your child, working out and even sitting or standing for an extended period of time can cause stress to your lower extremities and spine. This stress may cause pain and discomfort from restricted joints in your back, neck, legs and arms.

Our Doctors of Chiropractic use hands-on chiropractic adjustments to safely and quickly unlock joint restrictions. Thus, restoring your mobility, alleviating your pain and muscle tightness and allowing your body to heal naturally without the use over-the-counter and prescription pain medications.

What To Expect In Your Chiropractic Care Treatment

The Chiropractic Treatment

Our chiropractors are trained to locate and correct joint restrictions by applying a gentle, targeted movement to the body’s spinal column and extremities, where and when needed.

Typically, your session starts with you lying face down on a padded table. Your doctor will use their hands to feel along your spine to identify your restricted joints. You will then feel a quick thrust of the doctor's hands and you may hear a popping or clicking sound which is completely normal.

Beyond chiropractic adjustments, your doctor may recommend and provide additional treatments such as: intersegmental traction, interferential therapy, exercise therapy, massage therapy, Laser Therapy, and ARPWave Therapy.
