There is no such thing as a “minor” car accident. When struck by another vehicle, the energy transfers both to the car and occupants. As a result, your body sustains significant forces that can cause damage to ligaments, muscles and joints. Even a five-mile per hour rear end collision causes the force of falling out of a second-story window. Anyone who has been involved in a car accident should seek chiropractic care as soon as possible. This includes all occupants of the car, including children.
LSM will happily file a claim to your auto carrier for payment. In the event you do not have MedPay coverage we can submit claims to an at fault party or the attorney of your choice. However once your claim is complete LSM will require payment for services rendered.
I was in a car accident; Can I get massage for my injury?
When to have massage after an injury is something you should discuss with your LSM Chiropractor. Massage is usually reimbursed from the automobile insurance company if it is necessary to further the healing of the injury. Used with chiropractic, it can be an important tool, but there are some techniques that should be avoided during the healing process. Your LSM Chiropractor can talk to your massage therapist, or recommend one, so that you have personalized care.

There is little or no sensation during treatment and no pain associated during laser application. Treatment is relaxing and some people even fall asleep. There are no negative side effects with laser therapy.
Most people experience positive results in 1 to 3 treatments, with the average course of treatments being 7 to 10 sessions. Swelling is greatly reduced and there is a rapid relief of pain. Acute conditions usually subside quickly, typically within one phase of treatments, while chronic conditions can be controlled with regular treatments. The effects of Laser Therapy are cumulative; therefore; expect to see improvements as you proceed through your treatment plan.
