JEFFREY C. MACKEY, D.C., F.A.C.O., F.I.C.C.

Dr. Mackey was born and raised a Madisonian. He attended East High School, graduating in 1974. Dr. Mackey attended the University of Wisconsin in Madison, where he majored in pre-chiropractic studies. Matriculating to the Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, Dr. Mackey graduated with highest honors (summa cum laude) in 1980.

Returning to the Madison area, Dr. Mackey began his practice with the Luedtke-Storm-Mackey Chiropractic Clinics in 1980. Since that time, he has been involved with both state and national organizations to promote chiropractic health care throughout the country. In 1995, Dr. Mackey founded the Wisconsin Back Society, comprised of all health care providers to work cooperatively together in the evaluation and treatment of spine disorders. For his efforts, Dr. Mackey was awarded "Chiropractor of the Year" by the Wisconsin Chiropractic Association in 1995 for dedication to the profession.

Dr. Mackey is a board certified Chiropractic Orthopedist and teaches extensively throughout the United States for the National College of Chiropractic.   He has had the great honor of being a keynote speaker at both The American Chiropractic Association and International Chiropractic Association National Conventions.   His main course of topics have been Managed Care, Multi-Disciplinary Practice and Chiropractic Orthopedics.   Dr. Mackey has also published many peer-reviewed articles for the chiropractic profession on a variety of orthopedic topics.   He is consulted with by insurance companies, newspapers, magazines and television for his advice in chiropractic practice.  

Over the years, Dr. Mackey has had the good fortune to be supported by a wonderful family.   His wife, Roz and he celebrated their 30 th   anniversary in 2006.   They have two children, Jason, who practices with the Luedtke-Storm-Mackey Chiropractic Clinics in our Whitewater office, and his daughter Lindsey, an aspiring performing artist who lives and works in New York City .

Dr. Mackey practices at the 3205 East Washington Avenue clinic location in Madison.   He enjoys treating patients from all walks of life and has a special interest in athletics.   He is the team chiropractor for the University of Wisconsin athletic program and Madison Mallards baseball club.   He has treated numerous professional and world class athletes along with nationally known performing artists.
