"Did you know that as a Chiropractor, I have more coursework in nutrition than any other type of
health-care providers? And did you know that the rigorous training to become a chiropractor
includes many of the same courses as medical doctors? Anatomy, biochemistry, microbiology,
pathology, and x-ray interpretation are just a few examples. The big difference is that I
specialize in spinal adjustments and other natural therapies and do not use potentially harmful
drugs or surgery."

"Growing up in Iowa, I grew to appreciate the prairie grasslands and the upland game birds
they produce, especially the ring-neck pheasant. That is why I feel very passionately about
the conservation organization, Pheasants Forever, since it began in Dane County in 1987, serving
as treasurer for 3 years, president for 3 years and continuing to serve on the board as a
director. I am also active in the local Oregon chapter of Ducks Unlimited and the Southern
Dane Chapter of National Wild Turkey Federation."
